This is the exact routine that Royle used when opening for famous comedian and film star Lee Evans at Manchesters Buzz Club and indeed he also performed it around the world to thunderous applause on many occasions, as will you when you have learned this truly real world commercial routine.
Things start by you reciting the alphabet backwards in a manner which draws applause from the audience.
And then you teach them how easy it actually is to do and they impress themselves at how rapidly they are able to do the same.
But then you take things one step further and attempt to multi-task and do two things at once.
Let’s just say when a full bottle of wine unexpectedly appears from nowhere the applause get’s even louder and by this point the audience has truly been warmed up and is mega responsive and ready for the rest of your show!
